Neil Selwyn has a new book published with Polity Press exploring the emerging field of digital sociology. The book provides an overview of the theoretical and methodological challenges of making sense of the social in a digital age, as well as the changing ways that sociological work can be undertaken. The book also takes time to develop overviews of emerging literatures in the areas of digital labor and digital race … all in all, the book is intended to provoke us to rethink we might make sense of the social complexities of the digital age.
