new Turkish collaboration on digital childhood

1952

Neil Selwyn is one of the featured authors in a new collection of collaborations between Turkish academics and international researchers working in the area of digital childhood. The book – Di̇ji̇tal yaşamda çocuk (Children’s Digital Lives) – features a range of authors, including Sonia Livingstone, Marc Prensky, Amanda Third and Stephen Balkam. Each chapter was translated and then responded to by a Turkish academic, leading to a collection that is of specific relevance to the region. Neil’s chapter opens the book and was written in conjunction with H. Ferhan Odabaşi from the University of Anadolu. More details about the book (in Turkish) are here.
