Neil Selwyn and colleagues from Monash and ANU have a new paper published on the emergence of online exam proctoring into Australian universities over the past 12 months. The paper is titled “A necessary evil? The rise of online exam proctoring in Australian universities” and published in the Sage journal Media International Australia. This is one of the first empirical publications from Neil and colleagues’ ARC-funded Discovery project on the emergence of facial recognition/facial analysis technologies into Australian society.
