Neil Selwyn is part of a research team led by Annika Bergviken Rensfeldt and colleagues at Gothenburg University, who have just been awarded a Swedish Research Council for Health, Working Life and Welfare (FORTE) grant under the theme “Challenges in Work Life”. Their project is titled ‘Teachers’ digital work: exploring the (im)balance between demands and support‘ and has been awarded SEK4.8million. Over the next three years, the project will explore how the digitisation of schools and schooling is impacting teachers’ work, with the aim of co-producing policy advice with teachers and other stakeholders to support a sustainable work-life balance for teachers in the digital age.
