How do we balance the interests and concerns about learning analytics among a wide range of stakeholders, particularly students, teachers, and institutional leaders? This seminar will explore prominent issues related to privacy and ethics from the perspectives of students and teachers in the context of learning analytics, and discuss the role of policy in developing institutional sensitivity to the human factors that can both be detrimental barriers and success enablers of learning analytics.
