As part of Australia going back to school for the 2017 academic year, Neil Selwyn was interviewed on the ABC Radio Darwin morning show talking about the role of digital technology in the classroom.

Neil Selwyn was interviewed on the ABC Radio 'Jon Faine Morning Show' on the topic of digital devices in the classroom, with a longer interview written up on the ABC website.

Mike Phillips has a piece in The Conversation which comments on the use of Augmented Reality (AR) and Virtual Reality (VR) in education contexts. Mike argues that emerging forms of both AR and VR allow teachers to construct unique learning environments for their students and he illustrates this through his work with the Royal Botanic Gardens in Melbourne.

Neil Selwyn is speaking on ‘Academic Work In The Digital Age’ at the ‘Disrupting Higher Education Dialogues’ conference at Deakin University, Melbourne on Friday 25th November. The three day event features a host of well-known speakers specialising in the area of higher education and neoliberalisation - including Pat Thomson, Trevor Gale, Louise Morley, Fazal Rizvi, Terri Seddon, Radhika Gorur, Rebecca Lund and Jill Blackmore.

Neil Selwyn was one of the speakers at the recent debate on schools and digital technology at the 2016 Encuentros conference in Barcelona (27.10.16). Most economies within the region have flourished due to increased regional capital flow, trade and other forms of economic and political interaction.
