David Elliott, our LNM webmaster, won the Faculty of Education Three Minute Thesis competition on July 9th. In just 2 minutes 38 seconds, he eloquently argued for Minecraft as a vehicle for significant learning in disadvantaged school classrooms. He convinced the judges of the value of changing curriculum to engage tech-savvy students in the literacies of gaming. David now progresses to the Monash University finals on September 5th, and we wish him much luck!
