LNM’s Selena Nemorin will be presenting at the 7th Biennial Surveillance & Society Conference in Barcelona (20-23 April). Selena will be presenting work from LNM’s ARC-funded project on the changing nature of schools in the digital age. Her paper is titled: ‘Rhizomatic educational technologies: Dataveillance in the digital school’. This paper looks at the new forms of surveillance implicit in teaching and learning Apps that are being increasingly brought into classroom. The paper will be made available through the SSRN website, and Selena has written a blog post around the topic of ‘new surveillance technologies’.
