Amber McLeod is a lecturer and early career researcher in the Faculty of Education, Monash University. Her research focus is on increasing digital competence in the community which includes investigations into community attitudes and understandings of ICT and digital competence. This incorporates analysing how ICT is included in teacher education courses and how professional and academic staff can work together to increase student digital competence. Amber is also passionate about the role of ICT in increasing access and equity, in particular, how digital competence can be taught in pathway courses and used in inclusive education.
